The Hansen House for Men opened in November of 2004 in Galloway Township, NJ. It is the first halfway house of its kind to open in Atlantic County. The Hansen House for Women opened in December of 2005 adjacent to the men's house and is one of the only substance abuse treatment halfway houses for women in the state. All of our houses follow the Hendricks House model. Clients receive support to develop a healthy balance in their lives: proper nutrition, exercise, complete freedom from alcohol and/ordrugs, vocational and recreational guidance, employment, spiritual development, and individual, group and family counseling. We have a 12-step philosophy to treatment. |
